FAQs
Difference between Lab Grown Diamond, Moissanite & Natural Diamond
A lab grown diamond is a diamond that has been created in a laboratory, through a process known as chemical vapour deposition or high pressure, high temperature treatments. Lab grown diamonds have the same physical and chemical characteristics as natural diamonds but at a much lower cost. Visually, it is hard to detect the difference between a lab grown and natural diamond.
Moissanite is a mineral that is often confused with diamonds due to its brilliant appearance and hardness. Moissanite is an increasingly popular gemstone, largely due to its affordability. However, it is not the same as a diamond and differs visibly, as its internal characteristics and dispersion (sparkle) are different from those of a diamond. Its hardness level is lower than that of a diamond.
Natural diamonds are 100% carbon, mined from the earth, and are the most expensive type of diamond. Natural diamonds come in a wide variety of shapes, sizes, and colours and are of higher quality than lab grown diamonds and moissanite. Natural diamonds are an attractive and durable choice for timeless jewellery.
Can the ring size be changed?
Yes.
If you are unsure of what size to order, we recommend ordering a slightly smaller size. Generally, it is easier to go up in size slightly (up to half size) rather than smaller.
Can I bring my own gold or gemstones?
Unfortunately, we do not work with supplied materials.
Do you offer remodelling services?
Unfortunately, we do not accept remodelling jobs.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we do. All orders over $300 have free international shipping. We ship from Melbourne using DHL Express trackable & insured safe door-to-door courier service.
The purchaser must comply with all laws and regulations of the destination country. The purchaser of an international shipment (any order shipped outside of Australia) may be subject to such import taxes, GST, customs duties and fees, which are levied once a shipment reaches the purchaser’s country. Additional charges for customs clearance must be met by the recipient; we have no control over these charges.
How long does it take to receive my order?
We estimate that the production, including design consultation, making, and shipping, will take roughly 5-6 weeks. The process of crafting the jewellery takes between 4-5 weeks, contingent on the design's complexity. While the time frame may be shorter, we encourage our clients not to order last minute. We may carry ready made stock, so please enquire if you need the product quickly.
What are the differences between different gold karats?
Gold karat marking refers to the percentage of pure gold in the mass. The higher the percentage of gold, the purer the metal. For sensitive skin, we recommend a minimum of 14K for yellow gold and 18K for rose and white gold.

Do you work with bigger diamonds/sapphires/rubies/emeralds?
Yes, we do. These are usually custom made pieces and are not available at our online store.

How to know if the size is right?
Your wedding ring needs to feel comfortable. Do not measure the size depending on how hard it goes over the knuckle of your finger. Make sure that once the ring is on, it feels comfortable - not too tight, not too loose. Your ring size will also vary depending on the seasons. Bigger during summer time and smaller during winter.
What is the most popular width for men's wedding rings?
5mm wide. It is a good balance between wide and still very comfortable.
